Details

In 1689, shortly after the Dutch King William III - better known as William of Orange – was proclaimed King Of England, Ireland and Scotland, he introduced gin, a traditionally Dutch drink, to London. Soon, of course, the volume sold daily exceeded that of beer and ale.

More than 3 centuries later, the original recipe was found buried deep in a dark corner of the Royal British Library's rare book section.
This beautiful pink gin is based on the authentic Gin 1689 recipe where strawberries and raspberries are added to the distillation process, which
gives it a traditional pink colour.

In the original recipe it was recommended to drink this gin with these two ingredients, bruised in a glass.
Hence, this pink gin is as close as it gets to being the first ever pink gin in the world.

Please drink this craft pink gin with an Indian Tonic and garnish with red fruit eg. strawberries and raspberries.
